13 Most Powerful Supervillains In DC & Marvel History
13. Thanos (Gloveless)
Here's a rule to start with: no special devices allowed. If Thanos had a gauntlet full of Infinity Stones, as he did in the Infinity Gauntlet series and sure looks like he will in Avengers 3, then he would have ridic power: total control over all space, time, reality, power, mind, and soul... which would put him at #3 or #4 in these rankings. As it is, he's merely powerful enough to fight Thor and the Thing at once, and much cleverer than many of the others on this list. He may look like a bit of a couch potato in the last couple of Marvel movies, but turn your back on this guy for too long and he'll be killing half the universe at once just in the hopes that the living embodiment of Death will give him a smooch on the cheek.
T Campbell has written quite a few online comics series and selected work for Marvel, Archie and Tokyopop. His longest-running works are Fans, Penny and Aggie-- and his current project with co-writer Phil Kahn, Guilded Age.
