13 Most Powerful Supervillains In DC & Marvel History

7. Galactus

For all their power, none of the previous entries on this list have destroyed planets, as far as we're aware. That streak ends decisively with Galactus, whose hunger makes him devour worlds on the reg. The first time we see him, he's here to eat ours, just like the Silver Surfer warned us he would, only we didn't listen to the Surfer, just because he looks like an insane silver Academy Award on a surfboard. Galactus has considerable, almost unfathomable powers, but it's the world-eating thing that sort of sticks in the mind. As villains go, Galactus is as consistently nice as you're likely to find. He doesn't hate us or our planet-- in fact, much as he insists we're insignificant, he kind of likes us when we can get his attention. It's just that he likes us the same way we like cheeseburgers.
