14 Weirdest Comic Book Weaknesses

2. Absorbing Man - Drugs

Red Hulk Fire
Marvel Comics

Carl Creel is better-known as the Absorbing Man due to his power to absorb anything he touches. This ability has allowed Creel to hold his own against Earth's mightiest superheroes like Thor and the Hulk. His unique ability makes him so dangerous, he is classified as the highest level of threat.

The reason why he is considered so dangerous is because it's nearly impossible to harm him. If he is shot, he will turn into the same metal as the bullet. If he is dropped into a volcano, he'll transform into lava. He can't be drowned, burned, blown up, melted, stabbed, or electrocuted. So, how can you possible defeat him?

Well, in Immortal Hulk #21, it was revealed that the Absorbing Man has one huge weakness; drugs. In this issue, a supervillain blasted Creel with a fentanyl opioid, automatically turning him into the narcotic. He became so high after changing into a living drug, his mind turned to mush.
