15 Best Superhero Redesigns
11. Deadpool - X-Force
let’s just get that out of the way - Deadpool’s standard red costume with the black trim is brilliant. This redesign for the X-Force storyline isn’t included here because of anything being shed, but instead because this one-off costume was such a great switch up that fit the narrative perfectly.
This time around, Deadpool’s distinctive red was replaced with grey, which if anything made him stand out even more. For all he’s a man of extreme violence, Deadpool can sometimes be a little black and white about things too, so the costume was fitting thematically there.

By going for a much bigger change the costume can do its own thing, while keeping the basic design means it’s still recognisably Deadpool.
Ryan Reynolds teamed up with a deliberately goofy and comedic version of X-Force in Deadpool 2, but there is apparently a more accurate version of X-Force being lined up for a movie in the future. Perhaps then we’ll see Deadpool’s monochrome suit gain more recognition.
