4. Green Lantern/Green Arrow #85

Even today, the cover to the iconic Green Lantern/Green Arrow story "Snowbirds Don't Fly" is pretty shocking. Like, to the point that even today, you're not sure they'd get away with showing the latter hero's kid sidekick shooting up. That's not really a thing that happens with superheroes, is it?

Unless they're being written by Alan Moore. It was so controversial at the time it almost ran without the Comics Code Authority seal of approval, but they made sure drugs looked bad so it was all fine.
