5. Superman's Girlfriend, Lois Lane #106

Some of the covers on this list so far have been insane, offensive or just totally idiotic, but the majority of them haven't actually represented the contents of the comic within - which are usually pretty prosaic and non-insane (or as sane as superhero comics can be).

Not so the case with Superman's Girlfriend, Lois Lane #106, which very much delivers on the premise of the Daily Planet reporter living as a black woman for 48 hours. Don't see anything wrong with that.
