15 Essential Tips For Surviving Comic Con 2014

9. Be Smart With Food

Hey, we've all been there, so no judgement. You're out somewhere, you're tired, you've been on your feet all day. That's the sort of situation where you should probably sit down and have a good meal, but it'd be much easier to just grab a load of snacks from a shop and gorge yourself on sugar and saturated fats. Yeah, you'll probably be tempted by the various food stalls around San Diego Comic Con - don't fall for their charms. You're going to get knackered as it is, without factoring in the inevitable crash that follows a full day of eating nothing but candy bars. Make sure you start off every day with a hearty breakfast - there's a good chance they'll be included in the price of your hotel, and that's another good reason to get up early - because you'll need the energy. Here's where the backpack comes in handy once again, as instead of wasting good money that would otherwise have gone on important things (ie toys) you can pack your lunch, along with a decent sized bottle of water. Did we tell you how hot and sweaty and crowded it gets in there? You're gonna need to stay hydrated, pal.
