15 Essential Tips For Surviving Comic Con 2014

8. Load Up On Chargers And Batteries

Not that you're the only thing that needs to keep its energy levels topped up over the course of Comic Con. Spare a thought for your electronic devices, which will surely be an essential part of your backpack along with all your swag and snacks. Your mobile phone will be on hand for directions, staying in contact with friends (go for texting rather than phone calls - no way you'll hear any ringtone over the noise of the con floor), and keeping up to date with all the latest rumours and news about the convention. Then there's your digital camera, which you'll want in case the phone dies or you want to take some more high quality photos. No doubt you'll have brought along a laptop though, even if it just stays in the hotel room and is to print off directions and to check into your flights before heading to the airport. In that case, for the love of all that is holy, remember to take all your chargers with you. There are outlets scattered around the venue, although they're at a premium; they can go in your backpack or stay in the hotel, just make sure you have them.
