15 Fantastic Four Villains Who Could Be The Next Big Bad Of The MCU
1. The Frightful Four
Peruse any list of "Greatest Fantastic Four Villains of All-Time" and you won't find The Frightful Four anywhere near the top. The Wizard is the most consistent member of the team — not exactly a Grade-A antagonist. The original four included Sandman, Madame Medusa, and Paste-Pot Pete who crashed Reed and Sue's engagement party.
Over the years, others have joined The Wizard in a quest to take down Marvel's First Family. From Klaw, Hydro-Man, Blastaar, and Constrictor to Superior Carnage, Deadpool, and even Spider-Man, The Frightful Four have largely been unable to create chaos for the Fantastic Four for more than a few issues.
Though there are no angry mobs demanding Paste-Pot Pete be thrust into elite-status in the MCU, a new variation of The Frightful Four would be interesting. While the lineup shouldn't be overpowered, imagine bringing together Malice, Molecule Man, and Super-Skrull under the leadership of Doctor Doom.
Thanos' children were defeated way too easily in Infinity War. Even though our heroes will overcome the next big bad, it would be interesting to see how the Fantastic Four and new Avengers come together to take down multiple big-bads at once.
