Deadshot, set to feature heavily in the forthcoming Suicide Squad film, is one of Batman's fiercest foes. A gunman that "never misses", his sniper skills and technological weaponry are so advanced that he is even capable of shooting around corners. While Deadshot has worked alongside gangs of supervillains like the Suicide Squad and the Secret Six, he is most famous for his work as a hired killer. He is spurred on by his accidental murder of his brother during his childhood, which was the result of his youthful unsteady aim. He subsequently trained himself to the skill level that he was to become famed for, but has retained deep psychological scars throughout his career. This leads to many implications that he doesn't care if he lives or dies, and is happy to leave his life to chance - a very dangerous proposition for his enemies, as it makes him truly unpredictable. He has even shot himself in the neck just to con a target into dropping their guard. Deadshot is a true professional. He takes on any job for the right money, and will carry it out to its end, regardless of who the target is. He doesn't top the list of DC assassins though, as he has missed once: Batman, his biggest target. Whether or not this was poor shooting or a subconscious decision not to kill Gotham's Dark Knight is unclear - but it reveals a chink in the armour of this seemingly ruthless assassin.
