Hitler shows up twice in Spinnerette, and both times, it's a stitch. In his first appearance, a future time traveler tries to end Hitler's life but is tackled by an accidentally time-warped Benjamin Franklin. Franklin may not know what's going on, but he refuses to let the traveler resolve his "quarrel with the Prussian gentleman" so barbarically. The second Hitler story may be the best and funniest tale in the series to date. Dr. Universe, a mad scientist who may not be so mad after all appeared willing to clone people for the right price. He had two would-be clients: an elderly Nazi faithful who wanted to bring back Hitler to re-establish the glory days, and a racist Southerner who wanted to bring back Robert E. Lee so the Confederacy could rise again. Dr. Universe was happy to deal with them both, but at the moment, he only had enough stem cells for one job, and cloning is a time-consuming process...
