2. The Hitler "I Killed"

The story I Killed Adolf Hitler features another time-travel assassination attempt that goes horribly wrong immediately. Hitler never speaks a word in this story, but his actions still have terrible implications: he escapes into his would-be assassin's time machine, removing himself from history as effectively as if he were dead. And nothing noticeably changes in the timeline at all. "Hitler disappeared in 1938. World War II never happened. Shouldn't the world be a better place?"
