11. Vibe Moves Away From Hawkman (Justice League Of America #2)
This brilliant little interaction between Vibe and Hawkman, upon the two of them meeting as the new Justice League roster begun to take shape, took place in Justice League of America #2. Just prior to the scene you see above, in which Vibe cautiously moves slightly further away from Hawkman, the following little conversational snippet occurred:
Vibe: "Hawkman, right? Are you okay?"
Hawkman: "Why?"
Vibe: "You're covered in blood."
Hawkman: "It's not my blood." Vibe's inclusion in itself was something of a surprise in this comic, so to see him stealing the show with this hilarious little scene was really great. He doesn't feel as though he fits in amongst the more senior heroes and the comic in general shows him using comedy as a means of doing so (and he is also humorously caught starting at Catwoman's boobs). It's a great comic, in general, incidentally - it was always going to be, with the likes of Geoff Johns and David Finch on board - and one that is highly recommended for those wanting to get in to the New 52 universe.
