The Chameleon was the first villain Spider-Man ever faced, and Dmitri Smerdyakov (Kraven the Hunter's half-brother) has been a constant thorn in Peter Parker's side over the years, Things got a little weird when he became obsessed with Spidey upon learning his secret identity, but he's since continued to play a big role in many of the heroes' adventures. He was even responsible for creating Life Model Decoy's of Peter's parents to fool him into thinking they were still alive, a cruel plan thought up by Harry Osborn/Green Goblin.
