Dr. Curt Connors was always something of a Jekyll and Hyde character, unable to control his transformations into The Lizard and his subsequent actions. However, things took a disturbing turn not too long ago when the Lizard persona became more powerful and ended up eating Connors' young son in a truly horrifying and shocking comic book moment. Spider-Man has tried to help Connors a number of times, but swiftly lost all compassion for him after this happened. Now, unbeknownst to Spidey, Connors' personality has returned but is trapped within The Lizard's body, an unusual new dynamic for this villain.
