8. Automatic Firing Tripod Machine Gun
The gun laws in America are already faintly terrifying. The idea that you could buy a machine gun that looks like the sort that used to shoot planes out of the sky during the Second World War off the back of a comic book, with no need for a background check or to make sure you aren't a 12-year-old. Thankfully, the claims that it helps develop deadly targeting skill were relatively unfounded. Because it fired plastic pellets instead of bullets, and it was so shoddily made it only did that half the time.
