You know how, when you're a kid, you're always trying to escape from being torn apart by bears? No, of course not, the story We're Going On A Bear Hunt is not based on true events that all children of a certain age can relate to. That would be preposterous. And yet, apparently growing up in sixties America was all about bear escapes. At least, that's what the advert for BF Goodrich Bear Escape Shoes appears to suggest. The colourful comic strip shows how easy it is to escape the clutches of a grizzly, thanks to the patented spring heels which make you run faster. So they're shoes that make you run faster. JUST MARKET THEM AS THAT.
