Who else could it be? Batman's look is arguably the key component in ensuring that he is the most feared figure in the crime-ridden hell hole that is Gotham City - and one of the most feared men in all of DC Comics. Like Nightwing - whose look was clearly influenced by the dark knight - his costume is dark in colour from top to bottom, in order to allow him to go unseen in the shadows whilst out patrolling on a night. His cowl ensures his identity is kept a secret and adds to the fear factor that he relies on to keep crime rates lower than they otherwise would be, while his cape allows him to glide in situations he would otherwise fall, and his utility belt is one of the most iconic items in comic book lore - housing more gadgets than you could shake a stick at.
