2. Man Of War

During a rare Marvel/DC Comics crossover which combined their heroes to create totally new ones, Super Soldier: Man of War was introduced. Clark Kent gained his extraordinary powers after taking a super soldier serum containing alien DNA, and he ended up having a mixture of Superman and Captain America's powers (not to mention a rather silly looking costume which borrowed elements from them both, including the Man of Steel's red pants and Cap's shield now in the shape of that iconic "S"). Created by Mark Waid and Dave Gibbons, Super Soldier: Man of War was admittedly fun while he lasted.
