1. He Doesn't Actually Hate The French
Based on the image above (which frequently does the rounds online in articles about Captain America), you would be forgiven for thinking that he's not a fan of the French. That's actually the xenophobic and exaggerated version of Steve Rogers from the Ultimate Universe though, and the regular version of the character explained his true feelings towards the country during Ed Brubaker's epic run. In that, Cap praised the people of France - often called cowards by the Americans for not fighting the Nazis - praising the fact that the country's citizens continued fighting even after their country has surrendered.
