7. Pink Kryptonite Makes Him Gay

Green Kryptonite weakens Superman, but there are a number of coloured variations of the substance which have been known to have an impact on how the hero acts too. However, the most bizarre of those came in an issue of Supergirl. The story (which was set in an alternate reality) featured pink Kryponite and revealed that exposure to that version would turn the Kryponian who came in contact with it into a homosexual.
