6. Jaws Nearly Played Him
While Lou Ferrigno has now become synonymous with the Hulk, he wasn't the first actor to be chosen for the TV series. Instead, the producers went for intimidating Bond villain Richard Kiel (aka Jaws), but changed their mind during the shooting of the pilot because they didn't think he was bulky enough. Had he landed the role, you have to wonder whether his iconic 007 foe would have ended up making as many appearances as he did. Arnold Schwarzenegger was also briefly considered the role, but the man who would go on to play the Terminator was deemed too short for the Hulk at 6'2" compared to Ferrigno's 6'5".
