2. Val Kilmer - Spider-Man: Edge Of Time (2011)

Bill Murray Human Torch
TriStar Pictures

From portraying Jim Morrison and Batman to slightly lame villains in a Spider-Man game very few people actually remember, it’s fair to say Val Kilmer’s career has been an odd one. That’s not to bash the former Caped Crusader too much, his performances in films like the Doors and Top Gun are fondly remembered and rightly so. He's an incredible talent.

Spider-Man: Edge of Time on the other hand was a fairly run of the mill beat 'em up with a slightly novel time travel mechanic which lets Peter Parker team up with his futuristic counterpart Miguel O’Hara, the Spider-Man of 2099. It falls somewhere in the middle of Spider-Man games - not quite the heady thrills of the PS4 title, but far better than the Atari game.

Which is why it’s very strange to see such a huge star like Kilmer playing the game's main villain, Walker Sloan, a scientist for the evil Alchemax corporation. He does evil science-y stuff and isn’t particularly memorable. Not exactly Top Gun.
