2. Arm Fall Off Boy
Whilst T. Reich might have been a deliberately insane character, there was a creation which preceded him and, bizarrely was only half a joke. That superhero was Arm Fall Off Boy, arguably one of the most fantastic names for any character in any media since the invention of writing things down really took off. He's an up front, no messing around type hero. He removes one of his arms and wields it in the other as a "deadly weapon", to bludgeon his foes. Simple as that. No power of flight, no x-ray vision, no telekinesis. He pulls off his own arm and smacks you over the head with it. Supposedly the victim of an anti-gravity gun, but an origin that is really unknown to any other character in the Legion of Super-Heroes team, he just straight up rolls in one day and plonks his arm on the table. Sort of like DC's very own unique version of Gimli's "and my axe" moment. Simplicity at it's bizarre finest.
