5 Comic Book Characters Too Ridiculous To Believe

1. Dogwelder

DogwelderWhen it comes to selecting a number one ridiculous comic book character, you really don't have to look any further than DC's Section 8 series. Section 8 are a simply outstanding collection of thoroughly and phenomenally insane superheroes. They're led by Sixpack, a drunk who specialises in glassing people. The team features an obese Latino known as Bueno Excelente (which is coincidentally all he seems capable of saying), a stereotypically French man known as Jean de Baton-Baton who defeats enemies through baguette beating; and, amongst others, a man named The Defenestrator, a Terminator rip-off who smashes an ever present window over the heads of his foes. The series is a piece of comedic gold, and a fantastic advert for the humour DC is capable of. But the best of the whole team? Dogwelder. A mysterious man always masked by his welding gear, his super power? Welding dead dogs to the face of the enemy. There is literally not a single sensible thing about that, maybe other than the fact that he wears safety gear whilst dishing out justice. He's not even delivering a beating to his opponents, simply welding a dead animal to their face, which, whilst I imagine would be pretty painful, is more confusing than anything else. Yes, Dogwelder is the greatest level anyone can hope to achieve in the ridiculous stakes, even standing out from his own team mates and a Nazi dinosaur.
