Batman and Superman are the two most recognizable figures in comics. Although they are far more often seen as allies, they have had their share of confrontations with each claiming victory at various moments. Fans have debated for decades who would win an ultimate, once-and-for-all battle between the two pop culture icons.
Batman is a world class mind with Olympian level physical abilities and unlimited resources. Even with all of this, however, Superman could beat the Dark Knight in less than a second.
It is true that Batman has won several of their head-to heads, but only with added assistance and Supes showing restraint.
