5 Great Comics That Will NEVER Happen Again

There will never be another Watchmen. Never. The sooner everyone comes to terms with that fact, the sooner the industry can move on.

Now, in fairness, this is nowhere near as big an issue as it used to be. Things like All-New, All-Different Marvel and DC Rebirth have tried to instil more hopeful and optimistic stories into comics. But for a long long time, every comic book wanted to embody everything that Watchmen was, all the while taking every wrong message from the movie - particularly when it came to their perception of Rorschach.

Think of this series as a much bigger version of Kingdom Come. The same reason for this comic never happening applies here as well, but in a much bigger sense, and for even more reasons.

Ultimately, there is simply no way that DC is going to get Alan Moore back since he's long since run off into the woods somewhere, to do whatever it is Alan Moores do.
