BONUS: There Are Just Enough "Episodes" For It To Be A Full Season
This is an extremely nerdy response that only myself, Adrian Monk and Sheldon Cooper would ever care about. As of the end of the season, there have been 19 issues and the "specials" (which were made up of the side stories), totaling 22 episodes, which is how many we usually got to see in a typical Smallville season.
