5 Reasons Why Ending Smallville Season 11 Is A Good Thing

1. The Equivalent To Season 12 Is Starting

018 Season 12 is starting with the side story Titans which, while not having yet featured Superman, it certainly is an improvement in terms of continuity. Megan Morse, the last White Martian, returns from the Effigy side story along with Jay Garrick (the original Flash) and Superboy himself. This looks to be quite promising, as long as it leads somewhere, unlike the other introductory stories so far. Chloe and Oliver Queen have been promised to return (although only Chloe has done so thus far), and the storyline wherein Earth-2 seemed destroyed and Chloe-2 came to the town of Smallville to meet her counterpart and die in her arms will also be resumed after being meekly disregarded in the latter half of the last season. As before, the return of Jonathan and Martha Kent, as well as the return of Kara Kent (which was very reminiscent of Alfred dressing up as Batman to fool the authorities) were welcome and well done. Here's hoping this trend continues throughout the rest of this comic's run! Anything else you'd like to add to the discussion? Leave your answers in the comments and thanks for reading!
