5 Women Who Should Have Never Dated Daredevil
4. Typhoid Mary
Mary Walker was once just a simple woman working in a brothel in New York. When a young and inexperienced Daredevil came after the man running the brothel, many of the women there attacked Matt and, in a panic, Daredevil defended himself. In doing so, he knocked Mary out of a window causing her to sustain a serious head injury that triggered a case of dissociative identity disorder. Mary now had multiple personalities, one of which became known as the brutal and sadistic Typhoid Mary.
Typhoid Mary would become a permanent member of Daredevil's rogues gallery while they're alter egos, Mary and Matt, shared another in his long line of on again off again relationships. In her Typhoid personality she was often hired or influenced by the Kingpin to go after Daredevil. She was also later revealed to be a mutant with various psionic abilities which included pyrokinesis, mental suggestion and telekinesis. Mary did eventually try to reform herself and become a hero during the government's superhero Initiative program, she became known as the mysterious Mutant Zero. This reformation does not last long though, once again her mental instability caused her to leave the team and abandon her heroic ways.
She was last seen in a Sisterhood of evil mutant woman that were set on defeating the X-Men.
