50 Most Badass Women In Comics

15. Lois Lane

Mystique xmen
DC Comics

Ever wondered what it would be like to be in a relationship with a superhero and have all that super stuff—often bad—happening in your life? Lois Lane doesn’t.

The original super-girl-next-door, Lane is approaching her 80th anniversary as a DC character, and one can rack up an awful lot of badass moments in eight decades, superpowers or none.

She’s survived more hugs from Superman than Darkseid could handle, and her work as frontline reporter for the Daily Planet has taken her places even Clayface would consider too dirty to brave.

Lois Lane has been at the plot of more damsel-in-distress storylines than any character in history, but we’ve also seen her stand up to alien troops, temporarily handle her own superpowers and been dropped off more buildings than you could shake a stick at—and yet she keeps using elevators anyway!

A badass in the truest sense.

Tom Sunderland hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
