6 Ridiculous Overpowered Superhero Mash-Ups That Actually Happened

4. Speeding Bullets Superman

Lobo The Duck
DC Comics

In the 1993 Elseworld's one shot Superman: Speeding Bullets, baby Kal-El is rescued from his crashed spaceship by Thomas and Martha Wayne as opposed to Jonathan and Martha Kent. Now named "Bruce" instead of "Clark", the young Kryptonian witnesses his adoptive parents' death in similar fashion to the original Batman story. Only difference between the two being that this Wayne child vaporized his parents' killers with heat vision.

Failing to save his parents in time, "Bruce" takes up the mantle of Batman: fighting the crime waves of Gotham as a coping mechanism for not only his dead parents but being a God. He's basically Batman with superman's powers... meaning he can throw a smoke bomb, lobotomize you with heat vision, snap your neck, and freeze you with his breath before you can say "Holy Kryptonite, Batman!"

Imagine a batarang hurling towards you at the speed of sound. You couldn't... because you'd be dead.

Batman vs Superman is an amazing dream match that became a reality. Batman combined with Superman as one character is an absurd dream concept that actually happened thanks to the wacky world of comic books.
