6 Underrated Comics Running Now

1. Batman Incorporated - Grant Morrison and Chris Burnham

Grant Morrison's Batman Incorporated Although Grant Morrison's original Batman Incorporated series was fairly weak, after reintroducing his series as a part of DC's New 52 reboot, it quickly became one of the best Bat-books out there. Pre-New 52, Batman Incorporated was mostly a set up for something big to follow that Morrison has planned. But now, Grant Morrison has pulled out all of the stops with Batman's war against Talia coming into play, with shocking consequences. Although #8 certainly sold well (the issue sold out in the majority of shops), I still feel that this series is overlooked. Although Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo are delivering some great stories in the pages of Batman, Grant Morrison's series is without a doubt the definitive Bat-title that allows the character to move forward as Grant Morrison takes him in a bold new direction that no other writers dare to go. Pick up Batman Incorporated Vol. 1: Demon Star, out now + Vol. 2: Gotham's Most Wanted coming December 2013 to get up to speed with Morrison's epic run, concluding this July with #13! Now, all of the comics I've listed above sell well, and I'm not denying that they do. Sometimes, certain issue can even sell out, like #8 of Batman Incorporated (due to it featuring the death of a significant Bat-Family member). But I still feel like these comics are worth the attention of a lot more comic book readers, and may even work well as gateway comics for non-readers. Either way, I think more people should know that Hawkeye can be cool, despite the character not reaching his full potential in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and that Young Avengers is a series for all ages! So if you're unfamiliar with any of these titles listed above, I highly recommend you try out an issue or a volume and see whether or not you're interested. You might just discover your next favourite comic book!
