7 Comic Book Storylines That Would Make Epic Movies

Death Of Superman It's no secret that comic book films and tv shows are hot right now. This year alone sees the release of Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy from Marvel. Not only that, Arrow continues its path of ratings supremacy on the CW and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D....well, hey, at least that girl from Thor was in it, right? No matter how you slice it, comics are big business. Despite most studios probably not fully understanding the core of their popularity, we all do. We know that these are mythic stories, steeped in rich worlds of lore and history. We've grown up being told lush, expansive tales from the masters like Kirby and Conway. I've compiled seven stories, and these are the ones I feel would truly make fantastic films. They may not be everyone's cup of tea, and some may have even been loosely adapted before, but we're looking for the core of it here. Forget if a movie botched one of these stories, we're talking as fans here. And isn't that why we all started reading in the first place.
