7 Comic Book Super-Spies BETTER Than James Bond

5. Black Widow - Yelena Belova

The name Black Widow is synonymous with the best spies. While we get to her more famous namesake later, Yelena Belova has carved out quite the illustrious, and bloody reputation for herself among comic book secret agents.

As a Black Widow, she was trained in the Red Room, where her scores and achievements were said to have surpassed those of Natasha. Her first call to action came when she was sent to infiltrate and lower the defensive shields protecting Attilan, a prelude to an invasion of the Inhumans capital.

As you can imagine, it was only a matter of time before her paths crossed with Natasha and boy oh boy, was it every bit the hellacious slugfest one would expect. The two fought each other on countless occasions throughout the years and Yelena dealt out some pretty severe blows to her rival and her Avengers colleagues. From Russia with venom.

After battling Galactus and pinning Hulk Hogan in the main event of Wrestlemania, I've taken a break from living in fantasy worlds, to focus on writing about them. I'm a comic book geek, a wrestling mark, a break dancer, and a scientist. One of those things may not be true.
