Whole else right? The Director of S.H.I.E.L.D, the brain behind the Avengers, the man who, despite no natural superpowers, has been standing like a wall between humanity and all kinds of universal level threats, sometimes literally when he became the Man on the Wall.

Nicolas Joseph Fury was the oldest among three siblings. Growing up in a 1920s Depression stricken Hell’s Kitchen, he did not have an easy childhood. His biggest source of reprieve during these times was boxing and shooting sports.

When World War II rolled around, Fury was offered enlistment by Lt. ‘Happy Sam’ Sawyer, who sent him and a close friend on a mission to Holland. As the war progressed and Fury’s participation in the war increased, he first crossed paths with future long nemesis, Hydra. By the time the fighting had ended, Fury had already decided he was not going back to a normal life.

He would eventually go on to join S.H.I.E.L.D, rising through its ranks before being appointed Director. As the leader of the organization he spearheaded countless offensives against the likes of Hydra, A.I.M and every other villain who threatened the world.

Fury is an extremely skilled marksmen, he can hold his own in a hand to hand fight and his always-thinking brain will never run out of ideas on how to solve a tricky situation. Because of all this, Nick Fury, you sir are the greatest super spy to have ever lived. James Bond who?

After battling Galactus and pinning Hulk Hogan in the main event of Wrestlemania, I've taken a break from living in fantasy worlds, to focus on writing about them. I'm a comic book geek, a wrestling mark, a break dancer, and a scientist. One of those things may not be true.
