7 New Comics You Should Read In February

2. The Fuse #1

The Fuse Publisher: Image Comics Release Date: 12th February 2014 Antony Johnston continues his relationship with Image Comics - which got off to a great start in November with Umbral - with this interesting new book, The Fuse. Johnston is taking us to a five-mile long city of steel floating 22,000 miles above the Earth, as we join a lone detective working on cracking a homicide case... with no help or back-up from his "colleagues" who remain on Earth. This book seems like an awesome new take on the isolation in space theme, that has been popular in the media for years. The only thing that could hold this book back for me personally is the art from Justin Greenwood, which I sometimes find a little too cartoony for my liking. However, if the story fulfils its potential this won't be a problem. Be sure to look out for The Fuse when it releases on the 12th February.
