1. The Punisher #1
Publisher: Marvel Release Date: 5th February 2014 I love The Punisher! He is one of Marvel's most interesting characters when handled correctly - as he was in his last ongoing under Greg Rucka. Seriously, if you haven't read Greg Rucka's run on The Punisher you are cheating yourself, go get it now! However, as much as I detest how Marvel has neglected that run since it was cut short last year, this new series under Nathan Edmonson may well make up for the fanboy wounds I have felt. Frank Castle has moved from New York City to Los Angeles following a lead on a major source of drugs. What he finds could be his biggest challenge yet as he encounters a military hit squad tracking his every move, and with enemies around every corner, Frank's one-man war against crime could be coming to a grizzly end. Nathan Edmonson has really impressed me with his current Black Widow series also releasing under the All-New Marvel-Now banner, and I have hopes that he and artist Mitch Gerads will be able to give this character the series he deserves.
