Aquaman Madness. Insanity. The impossible has happened. But in light of the fact that around 20% of DC's New 52 lineup were initially Batman or Bat-family related titles, why the hell not? Stranger things have happened in comics. In a medium where individuals are routinely replaced by teenage versions of themselves from alternate timelines, is it any wonder that Aquaman has received a second ongoing? Aquaman and the Others, starring the King of the Seven Seas and his personal strike team, is scheduled to hit shelves across the world this April. And it's no surprise; the Heir to Atlantis has been a breakout star of DC's stable for years. Gone are the super-friends lampoons on the subject of him being thoroughly useless. In place of the joke is an Aquaman who is remarkably self-aware about his former status as a laughing stock, but he finds himself a hero with nothing to prove.
