7 Scariest Batman Moments Ever

6. Any Time Bruce Wayne Hallucinates About His Dead Parents

It's always creepy to see your dead parents lurking around your house am I right? For Bruce Wayne/Batman unfortunately, this practically happens every Tuesday. Whether our hero is drugged by Scarecrow's fear toxin, drinking spiked water from a fountain belonging to The Court of Owls, or has just had too many long nights without sleep, the late Thomas and Martha Wayne always seem to haunt his waking nightmares. You can't really blame the guy of course, seeing that he watched them murdered before his 9 year old eyes. Though it may be cheating a little, my favorite dead Bat-parent situation occurs in the Arkham Asylum video game. At least it was written by God-like comic and TV writer Paul Dini so cut me some slack. In the game at one point, Batman gets drugged and enters the Asylums morgue. In front of him are 3 body bags; all of them shaking slightly from whatever is inside. You then have to make Batman open each of the bags in order to move on in the game. Sorry Bruce! But I had to do it! Inside of course are Thomas, Martha, and finally the Scarecrow in that order. Batman's parents look like zombies and they even taunt our hero for not being able to save them. Worst... Guilt trip... Ever!

By day, Don is the manager of an after-school program for 4th-8th graders... When night falls, he can be found writing primarily about Batman right here on What Culture! When not consumed by The Dark Knight, Don writes poetry, short stories, and screenplays. No matter how much he intrigues you though, Don is "off the market in love" with his girlfriend Mary. He also likes macaroni and cheese a lot. And bacon...
