5. What Does The Ego Stone Do?
So, what does the Ego Stone do exactly?
In a way, it is simultaneously the weakest and the strongest of the Infinity Stones. When a person harbours one of the six jewels, they are endowed with incalculable power. But when an Avenger called Sersi possessed the Ego Stone, she appeared to develop no new powers whatsoever.
However, the Ego Stone has two abilities. Although the wielder of the this Stone will have a semblance of free will, he or she will involuntarily follow the wishes of Nemesis. You see, the Ego Stone harbours the consciousness of its creator. As a result, the wielder will be naturally drawn to the other Stones. If they are unified, Nemesis will be reborn.
The Ego Stone also renders the wielder complete immunity to the effects of the other Infinity Stones.
