8 Comic Villains Humiliated By Daredevil

6. Doctor Doom

Daredevil The Man Without Fear Slade
Marvel Comics

Across the landscape of Marvel Comics, Doctor Doom is likely the most arrogant, egotistical character of this entire realm.

Of course, Doom is a villain synonymous with the Fantastic Four, yet that hasn't stopped Victor from butting heads with other Marvel heroes - whether that's one-on-one or in an "I'm going to take over the entire universe" way.

In 2011's Daredevil #15, DD was the unlucky soul who found himself in Victor von Doom's sights. Here, Matt Murdock wakes up in Latveria to find himself being prodded by medical personnel so that Doom can find out what makes the Guardian Devil's mind tick.

As an added kicker for Murdock, he's been exposed to a chemical that strips away his unique abilities, meaning he's stranded in Doctor Doom's ultra-secure castle with no powers and strapped to a surgical bed.

By sheer determination, Daredevil manages to get himself free of his literal shackles and escape from Doom's castle as Victor's goons do their best to stop ol' Hornhead - making the Guardian Devil one of the select view to lay claim to outsmarting Victor von Doom.

Sure, Iron Man would turn up on the scene to fully save the day, but Daredevil had already done his fair share of impressive work by the time the Armoured Avenger swooped in.
