8 Comic Villains Humiliated By Daredevil

1. Kingpin

Daredevil The Man Without Fear Slade
Marvel Comics

Continuing on from the treatment of Bullseye during the Hardcore arc, that story culminated in Matt Murdock stepping up to claim the Kingpin mantle from Wilson Fisk.

Sick of Fisk, his threats and the corrupted fist with which he ruled the underground of Hell's Kitchen and beyond, Daredevil decides to tackle this problem head on. And in typical Murdock fashion, this means walking straight up to Kingpin and punching him in the face really hard, time and time again.

To date, this beating of Fisk remains one of the most brutal fights of the Guardian Devil's career, and it ended with a triumphant, stern Daredevil standing tall over the bloodied body of Wilson Fisk as he proclaimed himself to be the new Kingpin.

From there, 'Kingpin' Daredevil explained how every dirtbag in the local area either needed to get on the straight and narrow or head off to new horizons. For those who decided to test the Man Without Fear, they were dealt with by Murdock's brand of no-nonsense justice.

As for Fisk, this was the most embarrassing defeat of his life. Not just was he bested in battle by his long-time foe, he was stripped of his own title, had his grip of power loosened, and was promptly locked up at Ryker's Island.
