6. Unlikely Crossovers
Crossovers are a tried and true method of storytelling for comic books. Fans love to see their favorite characters interacting with each other. Sometimes different comic book companies will team up and take this idea in a totally different direction.
Some crossovers just leave readers scratching their heads, like the 1993 one-shot Godzilla vs Charles Barkley, where the two had a one-on-one basketball game. Others take surprising turns with pre-established stories like when John Connor was killed in the Robocop/Terminator: Kill Human series. As strange as many crossovers are, none can equal the long and weird history that Archie has amassed.
Archie has crossed over with everyone from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the Punisher, KISS, to strangest of all, the Predator. What's even more surprising is how good all of these Archie crossovers turned out to be.
