Rather than being some everyday baddie, Morgan Ducard - yep, the son of Henri Ducard - was an intense and deeply personal threat to Batman and his world.

Why he's included on this list, then, is, well, frankly just down to wordplay - for Morgan is better known as the villainous NoBody.

How did NoBody get the better of Batman, you ask? Well, he managed to further corrupt Damian Wayne.

NoBody would arrive in Gotham City in 2011 with the intention of destroying Batman Inc. and helping to steer Damian to the dark side. After paralysing Damian and then knocking Batman unconscious, Morgan takes the father and son duo captive. Good old Alfred would save the day on this occasion, but another battle was waiting just around the corner.

Soon after this, NoBody would successfully convince Damian to join him and to channel his assassin roots. Of course, Damian's decision here was all merely a ruse so that he could have Batman swoop in to save the day. But while waiting for Bats, NoBody beat Robin to a pulp - which meant the Caped Crusader launched into a rage upon arriving at the scene.

It's here that Batman so nearly breaks his own code of honour, as he submerges NoBody in a vat of acid. Snapping out of it once he realises the horrible example this sets for his son, the Dark Knight lets NoBody live. That is, until Damian kills NoBody by jamming a thumb into his forehead.

As Batman screams in anguish at this sight, NoBody had done what he intended to and had gotten Damian Wayne to give in to his dark urges.
