8 Reasons You Need To Read Valkyrie

5. Move Over Moljnir, The All-Weapon Is Here

Jane Foster Valkyrie
Marvel Comics

Asgardian weapons are usually pretty awesome, but this is something else entirely.

Jane once again took up the reigns as the Goddess of Thunder during the War of the Realms in order to save Odin and Frigga from Malekith. As a last ditch effort to fell the giant, Jane hurls The War Thor's hammer at King Laufey. Upon the hammer's return to Jane, it breaks into pieces which merge together around her wrist forming a kind of symbiotic relationship with Jane. And so, the All-Weapon was created.

Named "Undrjarn" in Brunnhilde's memory, this weapon can manifest itself to be anything Valkyrie needs it to be. Commonly used as a mace-like weapon, the All-Weapon can also grant Valkyrie her own set of golden wings allowing her the ability to fight on ground and in the sky as she requires.

Jane is still learning what this magical weapon is capable of and the writers surely have some surprises lined up for Underjarn in the future.
