8 Reasons You Need To Read Valkyrie

1. Jane Foster Isn't Finished Being Awesome

Jane Foster's time as The Goddess of Thunder may have been short, but it was one of the most memorable and exciting runs of the past decade. It's a testament to that run and the character of Jane that Jason Aaron has brought her back to the forefront in her very own run, free from the tropes associated with being worthy enough to hold Mjolnir.

With the popularity of her time as a Thor, it's surprising that this book isn't on more people's radar, but with the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder film focusing on Jane Foster's story there's no doubt her stock is going up.

Now Jane has defeated cancer, she's more excited than ever to be blessed with Asgardian powers and there's very little holding her back. Expect to see Valkyrie in much bigger stories going forward with some amazing team ups planned.
