8 Reasons You're Wrong About Hawkeye

7. Both Hawkeyes Are Just As Good As The Other

Legacy Hawkeye
Marvel Comics

Since 2005, there have actually been two Hawkeyes in the comics: Clint Barton, who most are already familiar with; and Kate Bishop, who was created by Allan Heinberg and Jim Cheung for Young Avengers.

For around 14 years, both Hawkeyes have shared an equal amount of the spotlight and both have managed to win over readers by starring in some truly spectacular comics, with some electing to focus on one version of the character over the other.

In truth, turning Hawkeye into a legacy character has proven to be one of the best things to ever happen to him. It opened up whole new realms of story-telling potential, and with both Kate and Clint never short of fans, it's difficult to think of a year where both haven't featured in a significant way.
