If you followed steps 7 and 6 correctly, then youre already sharing emails and Facebook messages and youre probably talking about the fandom like its a friend you share. Be honest with her and tell her if the fandom is something completely new and exciting and that recent pictures on her Facebook profile sparked an interest in the topic. The thing with cosplayers is that theyre almost all completely down-to-earth, fun, social types and definitely wont judge you.
