8 Strangest Alternate Versions Of Spider-Man
6. Rampant Murderer Spider-Man
In issue #500 of The Amazing Spider-Man, the culmination of a three part special in celebration of Spider-Man's 500th issue, we get to see what would have happened if Spider-Man were to have proceeded in killing Kraven after the murder of Kaine.
In The Amazing Spider-Man #637 (yeah, that's 137 issues ahead of this one, comic issues make no sense) this version of Spider-Man is shown to have murdered Kraven. After being kicked out of the Avengers, he gones on to murder his entire rogues gallery.
As a result of all the angst he's clearly experiencing, he grows his hair long (which actually looks kinda cool) and dons a leather Spider-Man costume (which also looks kinda cool). He also reveals to his Aunt May that he's Spider-Man, much to her horror, and then punches Harry Osborn in the face for good measure
At the end of his time as Spider-Man, he eventually comes face to face with law enforcement who offer him plea bargain; manslaughter charges, in return for coming quietly. Not only does the elderly Peter refuse, he instead chooses to fight the officers and go out in a hail of bullets. And, damn, does he look stylish doing it.
